Colleen Rich: Colleen Kearney Rich has been more than 20 years of editorial experience working mostly with magazines and journals. Prior to joining Mason in 1988, she worked as a reporter for the Times Community Newspapers, as an advertising coordinator for Long and Foster Realtors, as associate editor for Kalmbach Publishing, and as the communications manager for a number of small associations. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Mason. She is a founding editor of So To Speak: A Feminist Journal of Language and Art.
